#Onam is the biggest festival when it comes to the southernmost Indian state, #Kerala. The auspicious occasion of Onam falls in the Malayali month of #Chingam, which is the equivalent of the August-September period of the year. Onam is not a one-day event but a series of super festive days that finally commence to the big day, the tenth-day Thiruvonam! All ten of these days are enjoyed by the people with utmost passion and great #devotion! Nevertheless, each day has its own set of rituals and the high spirited people of Kerala are ever ready to indulge in merriment and the festivities!!

Out of these 10 days, the first day, #Atham and the last day, #Thiruvonam is the most important one!
